My sister and I had a long obsession with Gilrmore Girls when I was in 7th grade. I always loved the theme song, but I never looked into who or what it was. A few years later, I heard "So Far Away" on King's album. I loved the song, but I didn't think about trying the whole thing out. Later, I thought I might as well try the whole album. Turns out, its amazing. For some time now, this album has been playing consistently. "Tapestry" is one of the Top Selling Albums of All Time, and won album of the year in 1972. King offers a folk-like sound, and creates a unique sound. Some songs that might be recognizable would be "I Feel the Earth Move" and "It's Too Late." My personal favorites are "Beautiful," "So Far Away," and "It's Too Late."
